Kordiam's Roadmap and Updates
At Editorial Days 2025, Kordiam CEO Matthias Kretschmer shared how the platform continues to evolve without losing focus. As more teams rely on Kordiam for planning and coordination, expectations are rising fast.
Matthias made one thing clear. Even without new requests, the roadmap is already full. But needs are shifting, and Kordiam is adapting with a clear strategy.
Roadmap priorities depend on three factors: how many customers are asking for a feature, the effort to deliver it, and the long-term value of staying current. Some tools, like the upcoming MCP connector, may move forward even without direct requests because of their strategic value.
Several near-term updates are coming soon. A database size reduction will speed up load times. A staff availability view will support smarter assignments. A Slack thread integration will let teams link stories to conversations. Kordiam will track usage before considering the same for Microsoft Teams.
In development now are two key features. A redesigned story card will bring planning details into one view. New story templates will support consistent planning across teams.
Longer-term updates include a short-term planning page, platform-level objectives, and future dashboard improvements. Smaller updates like recurring stories, story bundles, and safer data handling are also in progress.
Matthias emphasized that customer collaboration is essential. Early conversations lead to better alignment and stronger outcomes.
