During Editorial Days 2025, Kordiam Partner and Integration Manager Robert Dönges shared a look at the integration projects currently in development, planned for the near future, or under early exploration. The session highlighted upcoming connections with several content management systems, including new or expanded integrations with Purple (Sprylab), Labrador, Cue (Stibo DX), Bold CMS, and WoodWing Studio. Many of these are being developed in close collaboration with newsroom customers and regional tech partners.

A key theme across the presentation was modernization and flexibility. For example, STT, a longtime Kordiam customer, is shifting from FTPS to API-based delivery, enabling faster and more efficient data transfer. Similarly, updates to Drupal and WordPress integrations continue based on direct user feedback. The presentation also touched on early-stage initiatives, such as exploring support for TYPO3, and a forward-looking look at the Model Context Protocol, a proposed standard for connecting editorial systems to large language models. Each integration reflects Kordiam’s broader commitment to supporting newsrooms with adaptable, well-connected tools that simplify the work behind publishing.
